A couple of weeks ago we went to Highland Park for some fun family Christmas pictures. Let's just say the morning did not go as planned. To start the morning, we couldn't find the photographer is this beautiful park, so we wandered around aimlessly with Preston, stroller, diaper bag, purse, coats and props. Secondly, I think we chose the coldest day of the year so far to take pics outside. Poor little Preston didn't know what hit him. Not to mention the fact that I was in heels and our photographer decided to take pics down by the river (yes beautiful setting) but climbing down the hill with wet slippery rock (did I forget to mention it had rained the night before) in heels holding a baby was quite the task. By the time we started the shoot lil Preston was completely over it! Our little guy spent a good portion of our shoot time in tears. =( I felt so bad for the little guy! As we finally drove off, I was completely disappointed at how our first Christmas shoot went. Bad planning on my part (lesson learned)! I was absolutely shocked to see that after all of our drama, we managed to get some pretty good pics! Preston is a trooper!! He managed to give us some pretty cute smiles despite his discomfort!
