This Halloween was so much fun! Preston dressed up as a little lion, a pretty cute lion if you ask mommy and daddy! =) We had so many fun activities this year too. We had a neighborhood Halloween party with the 14 kids on the block, all so cute in their costumes. Then we had a Halloween festival that we took Preston to. We carved pumpkins the night before Halloween while we watched Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin. Then we of course took Preston trick-or-treating for his very first time! He had a blast! He was nervous at first, but as soon as he realized candy was involved, he was SOLD! It was such a fun time of year. Steve and I even dressed up for the adults only Halloween party we attended, which was lot's of fun! We look forward to many more Halloween's to come!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

This weekend we had a chance to visit a great pumpkin patch in Celina. We had such a great time! Preston got to pet and feed the animals in the petting zoo (Longhorns, cows, sheep and goats), got to go on a hayride, have a little picnic in the patch and pick his very own pumpkin off the vine! It was very exciting! We can't believe he's gotten so big! Last year we took him to a pumpkin patch and he slept through the whole thing! Time is flying by, but he is still cuter than ever!!

Preston's 1st Texas A&M Game

A couple of weeks ago Preston got to go to his very first Texas A&M game. A&M played Arkansas at The Cowboys stadium in Arlington. Preston attended his first game with his Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Gene, daddy and mommy. Unfortunately A&M lost, but we had a great time and Preston is beginning to get a feel for the Aggie traditions! This was also the game that A&M was welcomed into the SEC at half time, pretty cool. He loved watching the football players, the band and even got to see Reville. It was a great first game to take him too! Gig em Aggies!

Preston's 1st Birthday!

I can not even begin to say how quickly the past year has gone by! It has been the absolute BEST year of our lives! Our little man is getting so big and makes us so incredibly proud every single day!

For Preston's first birthday we celebrated at our house on his actual birthday August 27th. We had lot's of friends and family come by which was so incredibly nice of everyone! We ended up having 42 attendees! Pretty good for a 1 year old. ;) We had such a good time! It was a Little Prince theme and Preston definitely lived like a Prince that day. Thank you so much to everyone that made it so incredibly special!

I hear Wedding Bells!

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated Z and Nikki's wedding! Z is Stephen's best friend from college and he was his best man. We had a weekend full of fun festivities! Friday night was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, Saturday the guys played Top Golf and Saturday was the beautiful ceremony and fun celebration at the Belo! Stephen didn't lose the rings, gave a great toast and was the best looking groomsman (I'm not partial at all). I was so proud! We had a great time celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Zannikos! We look forward to many good times to come!
