Mota-Vational Quotes

  • "Life isn't about how to survive the storm but how to dance in the rain!"
  • "The happiest people don't always have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything they have."
  • "Every morning in Africa, a Gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a Lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest Gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you are a Lion or a Gazelle... when the sun comes up, you'd better be running."

Christmas #3 with The Mota Family

After Santa came Christmas morning, we quickly cleaned up as much as possible and got ready for Stephen's family to come over for Christmas day. Everyone came over and enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner (ham, roast, dressing, potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad, cornbread, deviled eggs, and several delicious desserts). With full bellies, we decided to open gifts! Preston was pumped! He got everything he wanted and MORE! Kelsey still wasn't sure what to think, but was very excited about it all. She loved all of her new toys too! We spent the day with the family, kids played with their new toys, we grazed. had a few adult beverages and played some games. It was so nice! We are very blessed to be surrounded by such loving family! It was another wonderful Christmas day! Always sad to see it come to an end!

WOW! What a fun Christmas morning! The kids must have been extra good this year, because they definitely made Santa's "nice" list! Preston had asked Santa for a trampoline and a "pooping dog game" aka Doggie Doo and Kelsey wanted her first American Girl Bity Baby doll. Well, Santa delivered everything they wanted and MORE! I think I was the most excited person in our house Christmas morning. I was up, ready to go and the rest of my house slept in until 9:30! I was pacing the floors and blasting Christmas music trying to wake everyone up to see what Santa brought! Finally everyone woke up and I could barely keep Preston in our room while daddy brushed his teeth. He was trying to push me down to go see what Santa had brought! The excitement quickly filled the house and what a joyful morning we had! Kelsey was thrilled with all of the paper, bows and candy canes on her first Christmas morning, while Preston couldn't decide what to play with first. It was a blast, loved seeing these little ones eyes light up with the joy of Christmas morning!

Jingles and Bell

Jingles and Bell are our favorite little elves that Santa sent us this year to watch over the kids and report back to Santa each night on the kids behavior! We had so much fun with them this year. They did all kinds of fun stuff for the kids! Below are most of the days captured on film so we can remember their visits for years to come. Thanks Santa for sending us the best elves ever! And thanks Jingles and Bell for everything!!
