Mota-Vational Quotes

  • "Life isn't about how to survive the storm but how to dance in the rain!"
  • "The happiest people don't always have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything they have."
  • "Every morning in Africa, a Gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a Lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest Gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you are a Lion or a Gazelle... when the sun comes up, you'd better be running."

Disney's Rockin Ever After!

Last weekend we took Preston to see Disney's Rockin Ever After. We had so much fun! Preston was absolutely mesmerized. He sat in his own little seat the entire show (including intermission). He loved it, and I have to say that I think his mommy enjoyed it just as much as he did! ;) He loved the little "fishies"  from the Little Mermaid part. He also loved seeing the Brave part of the show (he loves that movie). He also loved getting to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald, they are awesome! All in all it was a success. He got a light up sword which we played with all evening. The show was very well done! So much fun as a family!

Happy Easter!

We had a fun filled Easter weekend! We started the weekend with a fun neighborhood Easter egg hunt and some good times outdoors with great neighbors! We then had a fun little celebration Easter morning after we realized the Easter bunny had come to visit Preston and left eggs all over the house for Preston to find! That Easter bunny is pretty cool! Then after a great Easter service, we went home and had Stephen's family over to enjoy the afternoon together. We grilled out and heated the pool to open up for the season. We enjoyed the afternoon outside, gotta love springtime!! Preston got all kinds of goodies from everyone, he is so blessed, we all are! Good times all around!

New York, New York!

A couple of weeks ago, I had to go to NY for work. I was traveling alone, so my mom decided to go with me! I was busy during the days, but mom and I were able to fit in some fun during the evenings! We got to see 2 great shows, Wicked and Once. Both were fabulous!! For mom and I, who absolutely love theatre, it couldn't have been better time spent together! It was nice getting some time just the two of us. That's hard to come by these days. I love my mom so much and I am so incredibly thankful to have this time with her. Thanks again for going mom!
