We finally got in all of our nursery furniture! It was worth the wait! We were super excited to get everything in the house and finally get Preston's room looking like an actual nursery! Funny how things don't always go as planned though. I had envisioned a super fun evening of putting everything together in his little room and being super excited about everything. We were excited, but I have to say that NOTHING wanted to work for us! Stephen and I had quite the time trying to pull it all together. First, the guys that set up the crib put the mattress way too high, so when we initially put on the bumper pad in, it didn't fit. After lot's of struggles with that we finally got it to work. Then it was on to the mobile, which again didn't fit on the crib! Stephen had to take that apart and fix it up so we could attach it to the crib. Finally got that to work. Then it was time to put my changing pad cover on that matched the room, and what do you know...it didn't fit either! hahaha Stephen and I had to laugh at this comedy of errors. Stephen said it best, "I hope that we are better at parenting than we are at putting together a nursery!" All in all we finally got everything to work, but it was definitely worth a few laughs. I am super excited how everything turned out! Now all we need is lil Preston! =)
